Owner: Gail Levine and Jennifer Levine Medeiros

Planned: Mid-Year 2025

About Our New Member: Gail and Jennifer bring over 50 years of combined experience in education to their new bookstore, Through the Fold. More than just a bookstore, Through the Fold will be a community hub for learning and creativity for adults and children alike. The mother-daughter duo will offer books, events, and out-of-school programming that reflect their shared love of literacy and storytelling. Gail and Jennifer, are also part of the CALIBA Political Advocacy Committee.

LA WILDFIRES UPDATE

The fires are contained, but the work to rebuild continues. We will continue to update the LA Wildfires Mutual Aid Google document to share ways that you can support bookstores affected by the fires. You can find this document plus resources for booksellers affected by the fire on the CALIBA LA Fires Resource page.
