Dear CALIBA Booksellers,

A heart-felt thank you to everyone who was able to join us in Pasadena for Fall Fest 2024! The 153 booksellers (from 63 stores across the state) came with fantastic energy and excitement to connect and learn from each other. We especially appreciate the 60 booksellers who traveled 200+ miles to join us! Also, it’s amazing to see that 49% of attendees were first timers! Along with those of you who attended the show to learn, we’d like to thank the booksellers and industry professionals who shared their expertise and experience on our education panels. CALIBA’s strength comes from all of you!

I am particularly thankful to those who came up to me personally and told me how much they were enjoying the show and complimented the hard work of the CALIBA team. We spend months putting together the programming for you: from author sessions, to rep picks, to education, and your excitement about it all keeps us energized throughout the show and reminds us why we love what we do! Your in-person feedback was amazing, but we’d love even more. Help us make next year even better by providing your input in the survey below. We hope that you all, and more, are able to join us again next year in South San Francisco, September 17th & 18th, 2025.

Sincerely,

Hannah Walcher

CALIBA Executive Director
